1. Eclipse 4 – Present, Past and Future of the Eclipse Platform

Content: In this talk Tom presents the main concepts underpinning
the new generation of the Eclipse Platform used to build
small (RCP) to big products (Eclipse IDE).
He’ll explain the reason and history of decisions made and
how one can leverage them to do things not possible in 3.x

2. e(fx)clipse – Eclipse tooling and runtime for JavaFX 2.0

Duration: 35-45 Minutes
Content: In this talk Tom presents the JavaFX 2.0 tooling he’s been
working on for the last year. He’ll demonstrate what one the
tooling currently provides including it’s custom DSL to
author JavaFX application.
He’ll explain some technologies used in detail including
Xtext and Xtend who are used to implement the custom DSL
